Always wanted to start running but don’t know how to start?
Calling all Women! Join Under Armour during #UACELEBRATEWOMEN month in October as we hold a 5-week clinic hosted by Under Armour Brand Athlete Marie Choo. She will be sharing on the important aspects of running, how to progress from each run and how to run your first 5km.
For the second session, she will be joined by trainer Joy Fu, who will be sharing on what gear to wear during your run and how to select the correct sports bra just for you. Plus! Get your weekly dose of sweat during each session. There will be pacers in the front, middle and back during your runs, so don’t worry, no woman gets left behind!

About the Trainers

Marie Choo

Dog Behaviorist and Trainer, Fitness and Lifestyle Trainer

Aldrin Ho

Principal Specialist

Marie is a dog behaviorist, fitness lifestyle trainer who is certified with ISSA, and now, ultra-marathon and trail runner. Her project "Run for Rescue Dogs" has helped raised awareness on the issue of rescue dogs. She recently completed the Ultra-Trail Australia 100km Ultra Marathon in May, and is always looking for the next challenge.
Aldrin Ho is a full-time early intervention specialist and personal trainer.  He has been helping clients reduce chornic pain, muscular dysfunction and improve their fitness for more than 10 years. He also has many successes in treating and training clients. As an accomplished speaker in Nutrition for sports and Strength training, he has lectured in Sports Nutrition to many companies and tertiary schools.

Session Details

1st Session - 31st October (Wed) 

Agenda: Sharing session and Q&A for first session (45 min)
Topics to cover:
- Fitness as a lifestyle: "How did I started? Why do you want to run?"
- From 0 to 5km, whats the best method (Run/Walk/Run) to do it with?
- What is heart rate training?
- What appropriate attire to wear? How to look good while running. Smile for the photographer!
- Frequency of runs to complete 5km?
- 4 pillars of fitness lifestyle : Cardio, strength training, mobility, nutrition
2nd Session - 7 November (Wed)

Agenda: Sharing Session and Run/Walk/Run 5km
Topics to cover:
- Basic Warm up

- Break into pace groups to run 
3rd Session: 15 November (Thurs)

Agenda: Sharing session
Topics to cover:
- Aldrin Ho, a Principal Specialist from Ziklag Fitness will be sharing on injury prevention and common running injuries.
- How to be faster? Hill training, stairs training, track work, speed work.
- How to recover faster and better?
4th Session: 21 November (Wed)

Agenda: Run/Walk/Run (5KM)
Topics to cover:
-Bra Specialist Joy Fu will be sharing on how to choose the correct sportsbra for your bodyshape (15 mins)
- Basic Warm up
- Break into pace groups
5th Session: 28  November (Wed)


Prize give out:
