Get Fit with ESC Founder, Sally Dixon

The fitness world has become so fast paced that sometimes we all need to slow down a little. Quantity has begun to outweigh quality in many a fitness class with a high emphasis on the amount of reps you can fit into a short space of time. However, the reality is that the smallest movement can be the most challenging if done correctly.

Sally’s fitness philosophy revolves around rebuilding the connection between mind and body that a lot of us have lost due to this fast-paced live-work-play ethic. Sally is Balanced Body trained in Comprehensive Pilates but with a background in running and a passion for functional movement in the form of body weight and gymnastic training.

Sally’s classes focus on correct form and technique with emotive cues to really work on strengthening not only the body but re-energising that mind-to-muscle connection. A Pilates class with Sally will leave you feeling reconnected and strengthened, with an awareness of posture and alignment that you can carry through to your everyday movement.

Sally Dixon

Pilates Instructor / Founder of Every Second Counts

A qualified Pilates Instructor, two-time marathoner and gym and handstand fanatic, Sally Dixon's 17 years experience in the fashion industry and 23 years as an exercise and fitness enthusiast led to her desire to combine the two.

She traded in her job as Fashion Director in 2013 to launch her own activewear brand, Every Second Counts. Finding factories in Portugal and designers in the United Kingdom, it was important to Sally that the collections were crafted from quality fabrics and maintained British roots.
